$220.00

If you have ever wanted to try your hand at the potter's wheel, this 4-week course is for you! We will teach you the basics of throwing on the wheel, a great skill to learn solo or with a friend!

Since (re)starting my pottery journey, Animal House has been a safe space for me to learn and grow - while making many mistakes - and I'm grateful to share this special place with you.

In this 4-week course, you will learn:

  • Clay preparation/wedging (ram's head & spiral techniques)

  • Centering

  • Pulling walls/shaping

  • Making bowls and cylinders

  • Trimming

  • Glazing

CLASS SCHEDULE
These classes will take place Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm starting April 10, 2025.

Week 3 - Trimming
Week 4 - Glazing

Bisque and glaze firing of your pieces are included. Final firing may take 4-6 weeks to complete.
